4,000 BULBS PLANTED IN SEWARD PARK

2022 might not be over yet, but we’re already getting excited for a beautiful, blossom-filled 2023 in Seward Park!

On November 6th, Seward Park Conservancy hosted a morning of bulb planting to get Seward Park ready for the spring. With the help of some hardworking volunteers, we were able to plant over 4,000 bulbs in just three hours! You can look forward to seeing many beautiful varieties of flowers in the park's garden beds next year, including Alliums, Crocus, Daffodils, Fritillaria, Grape Hyacinth, Snowdrops, and Tulips.

We want to thank every amazing volunteer who came and got their hands dirty with us, as well as The Daffodil Project for supplying us with daffodil bulbs to plants. The Daffodil Project, an initiative from New Yorkers for Parks, has become the largest volunteer effort in New York City, with millions of daffodil bulbs planted as a living memorial to the victims of 9/11. We are honored to be a part of such a wonderful tradition!
